The Dallas Cowboys will play host to the Minnesota Vikings for their Week 9 matchup on Sunday. Dallas (4-4) is coming off a narrow 31-30 defeat at the hands of the Detroit Lions, who put up 24 points in the fourth quarter to steal the win. Minnesota (1-6) is coming off their third-straight loss, the second time this season they've lost three consecutive games.
Vikings vs. Cowboys 2013 odds: Dallas favored at home
The Dallas Cowboys are favored to best the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.

Unsurprisingly, the Cowboys opened up as heavy favorites. With the home-field advantage, the Cowboys began as 10-point favorites, though the line widened on some books, according to OddsShark. Dallas could be had as high as 11-point favorites on some of the major books by mid-week.
The Cowboys have actually exceeded expectations this season. Jason Garrett is on the hot seat, but with how poor the NFC East is this season, he could save his job by earning a spot in the playoffs. The Cowboys need to win games like this one for that to happen, however. Especially home games.
The over/under for the matchup opened up at 47.5 and hasn’t moved much. The total has gone over in six of Minnesota’s last seven games and in six of Dallas’ last eight games at home.
