NFL flexes Week 11’s Chiefs vs. Broncos game to Sunday Night Football

The first of two games between the division rivals has been moved to NBC.

US PRESSWIRE

The Week 11 contest between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos has been flexed by the league to Sunday Night Football on NBC, reports NFL Network's Albert Breer.

As a result, the scheduled Sunday night game between the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants has been moved to a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

The Chiefs and Broncos are locked in a battle for the top spot in the AFC West, and Kansas City is the only remaining undefeated team in the league at 8-0. The teams will face off in Week 11 on Nov. 17, and the second game between the division rivals is set just two weeks later on Dec. 1, currently set to kick off at 1 p.m. ET.

The Broncos had been the consensus top team in the NFL until stumbling against the Indianapolis Colts in a 39-33 loss, before rebounding against Washington heading into their Week 9 bye. The Chiefs, while not quite as dominant on offense, have used a stingy defense to take advantage of a relatively easy schedule the first half of the season.

Kansas City will face the Buffalo Bills this Sunday before their own bye in Week 10. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
