While the San Francisco 49ers may not be getting receiver Michael Crabtree back on the field Sunday, the offense will be boosted by the return of tight end Vernon Davis. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Davis is expected to play on Sunday after dealing with a concussion for the past week.

Keepers Week 11
Matt Ufford offers you fantasy advice on Riley Cooper, Colin Kaepernick, Bills running backs and more.Davis suffered a concussion early in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers, and the 49ers promoted tight end Derek Carrier to take his place in case the veteran would not be able to play on Sunday. The 49ers have become heavily reliant on Davis this season as the lone true threat in the passing game with receiver Michael Crabtree out, and Davis has recorded 520 yards receiving on 30 catches with seven touchdowns so far this season.
The eighth-year tight end will still need to pass a concussion test on Sunday morning prior to the game, however the 49ers fully expect Davis to be cleared for the contest against the New Orleans Saints.
