The NFL has upheld the one-game suspension of Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports. Goldson was suspended for an illegal hit to Falcons wide receiver Roddy White on Sunday in Tampa Bay's win over Atlanta.
Dashon Goldson suspension upheld, will miss Buccaneers vs. Lions
The Buccaneers will definitely be without safety Dashon Goldson in Week 12.

Goldson has been known for making illegal hits for years and has the fines to prove it. The veteran was suspended after Week 2 for his massive helmet-to-helmet hit on Saints running back Darren Sproles, but won an appeal to have the punishment reversed. Since the hit on White was of the same variety, Goldson was likely doomed to miss time for a repeat offense.
The former 49ers star was signed by the Buccaneers this offseason and has produced 50 tackles, one interception and one force fumble this season. Tampa Bay has won their last two games after starting the season with an 0-8 record. Kelcie McCray is expected to take Goldson's spot in the lineup against the Lions on Sunday.
