Jets vs. Ravens 2013 odds and lines: Baltimore favored at home

The Baltimore Ravens are favored over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Rob Grabowski-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Jets are set to take on the Baltimore Ravens in a Week 12 matchup on Sunday. The Jets (5-5) are second in the AFC East and are performing much better than expected at this point in the season. Unfortunately, they've alternated wins and losses all season, starting with a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, and most recently including a loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.

Baltimore is 4-6 and second in the AFC North, tied with both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. The Ravens lost three games between Week 6 and Week 9, but managed to upset the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10, which helped their cause in the division. Unfortunately, their most recent outing was a 23-20 overtime loss to the Chicago Bears.

The Ravens opened up as 3-point favorites for the game. That’s likely due to the home-field advantage, but they would still probably be very narrow favorites either way. The line has moved further in their favor on some sites, with many offering the Ravens as 4-point favorites, according to OddsShark.

The over/under for the matchup opened at 40 points. That total has gone over in seven of New York’s last eight games and under in six of Baltimore’s last nine.
