Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is still rehabbing from a hamstring injury but, when he's healthy, the veteran knows who should have the starting job under center. According to Reuban Frank of CSN Philadelphia, Vick said during Frank's weekly radio show that Nick Foles deserves to remain the starter when he's ready to play again.
Michael Vick thinks Nick Foles deserves to be Eagles starting QB
The veteran quarterback is being a team player when it comes to who deserves to keep the starting quarterback job.

“In all honesty, in all fairness, how can you take a guy out of the game who’s been playing so well?” Vick said.
Eagles coach Chip Kelly continues to remain non-committal on who will be the permanent starter once Vick returns, but Foles will probably have to completely fall apart to lose the job at this point. The Eagles have recovered from a horrific start to the season to win five of their last seven games to take over the top spot in the NFC East with Foles under center.
Vick, aside from the nagging hamstring injury, once again struggled to effectively run the Eagles offense this season while the team was adjusting to the new system under Kelly. Foles has been much more efficient, throwing 199 consecutive passes without an interception and now has 16 touchdowns on the season while putting up a 128.0 quarterback rating.
“He’s going out there and everything he’s worked for and put into his game, he’s putting it to work, and that’s what you’ve seen,” said Vick.
“He can potentially be a starter in this league for a long time. It’s just about timing, as of right now. As long as he keeps doing what he’s doing, he’s going to continue to build that case.”
The Eagles have a bye in Week 12, next facing the Arizona Cardinals at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 1.
