The Denver Broncos are likely to be without tight end Julius Thomas on Sunday, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Julius Thomas injury: Broncos TE likely out vs. Patriots
The Broncos will likely be without one of their top receiving threats against the Patriots on Sunday night.

Thomas, who has been dealing with a knee injury, was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game and was considered to be a game-time decision. The young tight end, who apparently injured the knee during last week’s game, was limited in practice during the week on Thursday and Friday.
The third-year tight end is the fourth-leading receiver on the Broncos this season and is suddenly enjoying a breakout season. After catching just one pass for five yards in 2011, Thomas has 45 receptions for 590 yards and 10 touchdowns and has quickly become a favorite target for quarterback Peyton Manning. He currently leads the team in touchdowns scored.
The Broncos are expected to get receiver Wes Welker back from concussion on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on NBC.
