Ryan Mathews injury: Chargers RB questionable to return
San Diego is locked in a tight contest in Kansas City but may be without their starting running back for the rest of the game.

Mathews came into the game with 666 rushing yards and one touchdown. The fourth-year running back has played in all 11 games this season but has never played a full 16-game season in his career as of yet. He had 1,546 total yards in 2011 with six touchdowns but has just five touchdowns in the last two seasons, including his score against the Chiefs today.
Veteran Ronnie Brown will take an increased role for as long as Mathews is out, with Danny Woodhead likely continuing to play his role as a running back and receiving threat. Woodhead has 25 rushing yards and 12 receiving yards, with a touchdown on the ground and another through the air.
