NFC North injuries, Week 12: Jonathan Franklin suffers concussion

The NFC North did not escape Week 12 without injuries.

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

Week 12 of the NFL season saw a tie game between the Packers and Vikings along with losses for the Lions and Bears. With zero wins on Sunday, the NFC North suffered some injuries as well. The Vikings and Bears were able to come out unscathed.

The Packers reported two injuries after their Sunday tie with the Vikings. Running back Johnathan Franklin suffered a concussion, while defensive end C.J. Wilson left the game with a knee injury. Lions cornerback Chris Houston left Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers with a foot injury, according to Lions reporter Tim Twentyman.

The NFC North will seemingly come down to the wire as the Bears and Lions are tied for the lead with the Packers just behind them. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is expected to return shortly and that will be a huge boost to Green Bay's postseason prospects. The Vikings are the only team that is out the race.
