The Ravens used some trick formations on Sunday with backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor. This formation moved starting passer Joe Flacco out to the wide receiver position and apparently he is not fond of moving away from his comfort zone. Flacco let his lack of enthusiasm for gimmick plays be heard after Sunday's win over the Jets, according to ESPN.
Joe Flacco doesn’t like Wildcat formation
The Ravens quarterback doesn’t take too kindly to gimmicks, evidently.

The quarterback claimed that the formations with Taylor were “fun for a little bit” but he would rather be under center. It was an honest, yet predictable answer from a player who was paid $120 million to throw the football. Flacco has been less-than-stellar this season with a 76.8 passer rating, 14 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. The Ravens have failed to score more than 20 points in their last six games, so trying something new was understandable on offense.
The Ravens will host the Steelers on Thanksgiving at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
