The Bears will once again be without their starting quarterback in Week 13. Jay Cutler will be out of the lineup as he continues to rest his high ankle sprain, according to head coach Marc Trestman (via NFL Media's Andrew Siciliano). Trestman also stated that believes the Cutler will return at some point this season, according to the Bears official website.

The Bears will ride with the Josh McCown for at least one more week.


The Bears are currently tied for the NFC North lead with the Lions at 6-5. Both teams lost in Week 12, with the Lions getting upset by the Buccaneers and the Bears going down to the Rams. The Lions play the Packers on Thursday, while the Bears will face the Vikings on the road on Sunday. Backup quarterback Josh McCown will once again take the reigns under center and despite the recent loss, has played very well in relief.
