The Packers will not play with Aaron Rodgers on Thursday. On Monday, head coach Mike McCarthy conceded that Rodgers will likely miss the game against the Lions, according to NFL Media. Rodgers has missed three complete games and most of the Packers loss to the Bears in Week 9 due to a collarbone injury.

Mike McCarthy confirmed that the Packers will be without Aaron Rodgers on Thanksgiving.


The Packers have yet to win a game without Rodgers this season and are averaging a lowly 17.3 points per game with the likes of Seneca Wallace, Scott Tolzien and Matt Flynn at the helm. The Packers are currently 5-5-1 after a tie with the Vikings on Sunday. The Packers are a half-game behind the Bears and Lions for the NFC North division lead. Matt Flynn is expected to start for the Packers on Thursday, but the decision has yet to be announced by the team.
The Packers will face the Lions at Ford Field on Thanksgiving at 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
