James Jones injury: Packers WR likely to play vs. Bears

The Packers receiver could be a go after being listed as questionable heading in Monday’s game.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones will likely play on Monday night against the Chicago Bears, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jones was listed as questionable on the team's injury report on Saturday, with the veteran taking part in practice after having been limited for most of the week. The seventh-year receiver has not taken the field since injuring his knee on Oct. 13 against the Baltimore Ravens and even just two days ago, it appeared Jones would not likely play.

Jones has just 16 receptions this season for 315 yards and one touchdown, and has just nine catches total in the last three games he’s played. The Packers’ offense keeps rolling, however, with a No. 5 passing offense sparking a four-game winning streak heading into Monday night’s contest against the Bears.

With Jones sidelined, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb have become the top options for quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the passing game.
