Jeremy Kerley injury: Jets WR leaves Saints game with wrist injury

Kerley has headed to the locker room after injuring his wrist in the first half.

New York Jets wide receiver Jeremy Kerley has left his game against the New Orleans Saints with an apparent wrist injury, according to Rich Eisen. His availability for the remainder of Sunday's game is unknown.

Kerley suffered the injury during the second quarter against the Saints. He was seen walking to the sideline holding his left wrist and grimmacing in pain with what looked like a fairly serious injury. He has been taken to the locker room and is undergoing further evaluations by the medical staff.

Kerley had just one reception for one yard before exiting the game.

He has been a frequent contributor in the Jets passing offense this season, grabbing 27 receptions for 346 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He has also served as the Jets return man on special teams, returning 12 punts and one kickoff this year. He scored on a punt return during the 2012 season.
