Zac Stacy gives Rams 1st rushing TDs of the season

Stacy’s two scores are the first rushing touchdowns St. Louis has had all season.

The St. Louis Rams came into their Week 9 matchup against the Tennessee Titans without a single rushing touchdown in the 2013 season. Rookie running back Zac Stacy has put an end to that on Sunday, scoring on the ground twice to give the Rams a second-half lead.

After falling behind 7-0 early, Stacy tied things up with a three-yard in the second quarter. His second score of the game -- a nine-yard rumble straight up the gut of the Titans defense with just over five minutes remaining in the third quarter -- gave his team a 14-0 lead.

The rookie out of Vanderbilt has given the Rams a big boost on offense, rushing for 86 yards on 21 carries. His grinding runs have allowed the Rams to hold nearly an 11-minute advantage in time of possession.

Stacy began the season as the backup behind Daryl Richardson but has earned more and more carries as the season has worn on and Richardson has disappointed.
