Bears vs. Packers 2013 halftime score: Green Bay loses Aaron Rodgers, trails at haltime

Aaron Rodgers is out after suffering a left shoulder injury. Meanwhile the Bears lead the Packers at halftime.

Behind a strong first half from Josh McCown, the Chicago Bears lead the Green Bay Packers 17-10 at halftime of Monday Night Football.

The big story of the first half was Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers was sacked on the final play of Green Bay's opening drive and suffered a left shoulder injury. He attempted to throw on the sidelines, but went to the locker room shortly after. The Packers initially listed Rodgers as questionable to return, before announcing he was out for the game.

Following Rodgers' exit, the teams traded big plays. McCown led the Bears down the field on their first drive, hitting Brandon Marshall for the game's first touchdown. A blocked punt led to to James Starks scoring for the Packers. Green Bay didn't stay in the lead long, however, with McCown again leading Chicago down the field. Chicago added a field goal before halftime.

McCown was impressive in the first half, completing 14-of-21 passes for 196 yards and one touchdown. Seneca Wallace, who replaced Rodgers, didn't have as much success. He completed 5-of-8 passes for 43 yards while throwing an interception.

While the game is still close, both teams are without significant star power. The Bears are playing without Cutler and Lance Briggs while the Packers are now without Rodgers, Clay Matthews and Randall Cobb.
