Bears vs. Packers 2013 final score: Chicago wins while Green Bay loses Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers injured his shoulder on Green Bay's first possession and the Packers were unable to win without him, losing 27-20 to Chicago.

Rodgers was sacked by Shea McClellin early in the first quarter, landing on his left shoulder. He appeared to be in pain immediately. Rodgers attempted to throw passes on the sideline, but instead went into the locker room with trainers. He was ruled out of the game shortly before halftime with the full extent of the injury still unknown.

The teams traded scores in the first quarter, but Chicago outscored Green Bay 10-0 in the second quarter to take a 17-10 halftime lead. The Packers weren't done yet though and came right back in the second half. Led by strong running from Eddie Lacy, the Packers took a 20-17 lead. But it wasn't enough, with Josh McCown leading the Bears down the field to regain the lead.

McCown, starting in place of the injured Jay Cutler, was excellent in relief. He completed 22-of-41 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He played well at the end of the game, including on a game-clinching fourth quarter drive that ate up nearly nine minutes and gave the Bears a 27-20 lead. Seneca Wallace was unable to have similar success in relief of Rodgers. He completed 11-of-19 passes for just 114 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

Chicago's offensive stars did not disappoint with Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery all having solid nights, including one touchdown each. Lacy was a stud for the Packers, finishing with 150 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Rodgers' left shoulder injury was the main story of the game, but he wasn't the only Packers' starter to leave the game. Starting right guard T.J. Lang left the game with a concussion and was ruled out.
