The San Francisco 49ers will play host to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Week 10. San Francisco (6-2) is riding a five-game winning streak, while Carolina (5-3) is on a streak of four consecutive wins of their own. Carolina has played some pretty poor competition over the past four weeks, however, while the 49ers are coming of a week of rest from their bye week.

Still, the Panthers have one of the best defensive front-sevens in the NFL, so they are a force to be reckoned with. San Francisco’s offense is totally imbalanced, with the No. 32 passing offense and the No. 1 rushing offense, while the Panthers are No. 2 in the league at stopping the run.
Despite that, most experts are picking the 49ers to hold at home. SB Nation’s panel of six experts were unanimous in the selection of San Francisco. That panel consists of Ryan Van Bibber, Joel Thorman, Jason Chilton, Stephen White, David Fucillo and Matt Ufford.
The experts over at CBS Sports were slightly more divided, though six of the eight still went with the 49ers. Will Brinson and Jason La Canfora were the dissenters in that case.
