Dallas Cowboys inside linebacker Sean Lee suffered no structural damage in his neck. Lee was dealing with stiffness and soreness in his neck follow Monday's loss to the Chicago Bears, and the initial fear was structural damage that could require surgery of some kind. At this point, Lee is expected to miss some practice time, but he's also expected to be ready against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15. Dallas certainly needs him for its playoff push.

Here’s what else you might have missed from Tuesday in the NFL:
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson likely won't need to get surgery on his foot. Peterson sprained his foot in the team's Week 14 game against the Baltimore Ravens, but an MRI and CT scan revealed no structural damage. Still, Peterson is likely to miss Week 15 and the team could elect to keep him in on the sidelines for the remainder of the season to prevent further injury, given that they're out of the playoff race.
The Indianapolis Colts are planning on working out CFL Grey Cup MVP Kory Sheets this week. Sheets is a running back with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and set the Grey Cup rushing record with 197 yards on 20 carries, helping them to the 101st Grey Cup championship. Sheets has been with the Roughriders since 2012, but spent time with the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers in the NFL.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is giving a vote of confidence to Monte Kiffin. Kiffin is the team’s defensive coordinator, currently in charge of the league’s worst pass defense. Jones has been known to give many coordinators and coaches votes of confidence before going in a different direction, so do with that what you will.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Brandon Stokley was placed on injured reserve, the team announced on Tuesday. Stokley sustained a concussion in Week 14 and, at this stage in his career, it really is not the time for Stokley to attempt to play through more head injuries. The team re-signed running back Bernard Scott to take Stokley's place on the roster.
The Week 16 game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears on Dec. 22 has been flexed to Sunday Night Football on NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET. The NFL moved the New England Patriots vs. Baltimore Ravens game to 4:25 p.m. The Eagles-Bears game has multiple playoff implications and is a bit more evenly matched than New England vs. Baltimore.
