Two of the best running backs in football over the last five years could both be out of action in Week 15.
NFL injury report, Week 15: Maurice Jones-Drew, Adrian Peterson may not play
A pair of star running backs are dealing with injuries this week.


Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson went down with injuries in Week 14. Jones-Drew is doubtful with a hamstring injury, and Peterson is questionable with both groin and foot injuries. Neither has practiced this week.

Kiko Alonso questionable
Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso has been one of the top rookies in the NFL this season, but he may not be able to play this week. He’s been limited in practice all week with a knee injury and is officially listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
DeAndre Hopkins questionable
In addition to a carousel at quarterback, Houston Texans rookie wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has an injury to fight through. He's been limited in practice with a knee injury. The Texans have officially listed him as questionable for their Week 15 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
Cecil Shorts questionable
The Jaguars' recent winning streak has come at a cost. In addition to Jones-Drew's injury, wide receiver Cecil Shorts is also questionable for Jacksonville's game against the Buffalo Bills. He has a groin injury and hasn't practiced this week. His status is in serious doubt this week.
