Detroit desperately needs a win this week and most predict the Lions will beat Giants.
Following a last-second loss to Baltimore on Monday, the Detroit Lions need to rebound with a win this week if they are going to remain alive in the NFC North race. NFL experts predict they will do just that.

At 7-7, the Lions are behind the 8-6 Bears and 7-6-1 Packers in the division race. The Packers and Bears play each other in Week 17, so Detroit must win both of its final games and then hope the Packers and Bears both lose at least once. But, before the Lions can look ahead to next week, they need to take care of business against the 5-9 Giants this week. All six of SB Nation's NFL experts picked Detroit to win.

The choice was also unanimous among the eight NFL experts at CBS Sports. The eight were split, however, on the margin of victory. Detroit opened as a 9.5-point favorite and four of them picked the Lions to cover the spread. John Breech was one of four predicting a double-digit win for Detroit, picking the Lions to win 27-17.
