Mike Tomlin takes a step toward field in previously unseen video

New video gives us a longer look at Tomlin during the controversial play and shows him sidestepping into the path of the returner.

New video of Mike Tomlin's alleged sideline interference shows the Pittsburgh Steelers coach stepping into the path of a Baltimore Ravens return man and will likely be reviewed by the NFL as part of their investigation into a possible interference violation.

Video captured by a KDKA-TV of Pittsburgh camera during the Steelers loss to the Ravens shows the play from a previously unseen angle and gives the viewer an earlier look at Tomlin. As Baltimore return man Jacoby Jones races down the sideline past the Pittsburgh bench, Tomlin can be seen sidestepping to the edge of the field with his back to the play, forcing Jones to change direction in order to avoid him.

Tomlin has stated that he was watching the play on the jumbotron and got disoriented.

The Ravens would go on to win the pivotal AFC North game 22-20, but that hasn’t stopped the league from launching an investigation into the possibility that Tomlin intentionally interfered with the play. Reports have referred to a possible six-figure fine for the coach and loss of a draft pick for the organization.
