Raiders vs. Chargers 2013 final score: San Diego wins, stays alive in wild-card race

With some other AFC teams struggling, the Chargers could still make the playoffs.

The San Diego Chargers beat the Oakland Raiders, 26-13, on Sunday, improving their record to 8-7 with one more game to go in the season. With the Miami Dolphins losing and the Baltimore Ravens falling way behind against the New England Patriots, the Chargers' playoff hopes are very much alive.

San Diego hosts the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17.

Philip Rivers was 19-of-29 for 201 yards, one touchdown, one interception and one fumble, while Ryan Mathews rushed for 99 yards and a score. After being tied at halftime, the Chargers outscored the Raiders 16-3 in the second half to pull away.

The loss drops Oakland to 4-11, keeping the Raiders in the hunt for a top-five pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Rookie Matt McGloin passed for 206 yards, but the offense went nowhere and McGloin had an interception and a fumble.
