Linebacker Von Miller will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of a knee injury, and there is a fear within the Denver Broncos organization that the scan will reveal a torn ACL, Mike Klis of the Denver Post is reporting.

Miller suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Broncos' win over the Houston Texans on Sunday. The Pro Bowl pass rusher went down on Denver's second defensive series while engaged with a blocker. The knee was not hit, but simply gave out.
Miller told doctors that he had been dealing with looseness in the knee.
"There's always some concern when your teammate goes down, especially a guy like Von, who's really starting to click now," said cornerback Champ Bailey. "It's unfortunate, but hopefully it's something minor and something he can come back from real quick."
Miller missed the first six games of 2013 while serving a suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. He has 34 tackles, five sacks and three forced fumbles in nine games this season.
He was replaced by linebacker Nate Irving after leaving against the Texans.
