Brian Hartline injury: Dolphins WR questionable with knee issue
Hartline limped off the field and injured his knee. He is questionable to return.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline left Sunday's game against the New York Jets with an apparent leg injury. The team is calling it a knee issue and says he is questionable to return.
Hartline went down after catching a 25-yard pass from Ryan Tannehill. His leg twisted awkwardly while being tackled. Hartline quickly limped off the field and went over to the trainer’s table. It’s unknown if the team will let him back into the game.
Before the game, Hartline was setting up to have another fine game, recording two catches for 38 yards and crossing 1,000 yards for the second year in a row. He has 76 catches for 1,016 yards and four touchdowns. The injury is a tough blow for the Dolphins' receiving corps, who need all hands on deck as they fight for a playoff position. They are down to Mike Wallace, Rishard Matthews and Marlon Moore on the depth chart.
