Broncos, Peyton Manning break records, lead Raiders 31-0 at halftime

The Broncos have broken more records than the Raiders have points in this game.

The Denver Broncos officially have the most prolific offense in NFL history.

In the second quarter against the Oakland Raiders, Peyton Manning lofted a pass through the air and hit Demaryius Thomas for a 63-yard touchdown to give the Broncos 595 points this season. The extra point brought Denver's total to 596, breaking the previous record of 589 points held by the 2007 New England Patriots.

The touchdown pass also brought Manning closer to the single-season record for passing yards. After the touchdown, Manning was just 70 yards away from the record. A late first-half drive ended with another Manning touchdown to Thomas, which pushed Manning past Brees for the single-season record for passing yards. Manning has four touchdowns in the first half, and the Raiders have allowed 33 touchdowns through the air this season, the most in franchise history.

With a win, the Broncos will lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They currently lead the Raiders, 31-0, at halftime and have broken two records in the process.
