Life hasn't been easy for the New England Patriots in 2013. They replaced their entire receiving core and dealt with plenty of injuries on the offensive line.
AFC East injury report, Week 17: Patriots banged up heading into postseason
The Patriots will need the bye to get healthy before making a run at another AFC title.

Sunday was no different. While New England won its Week 17 game against the Buffalo Bills to clinch the AFC East and a first round bye in the AFC playoffs, it came at a price. Both Logan Mankins and Aaron Dobson left the game with injuries, although Mankins returned to the game. Meanwhile, Dobson re-injured his foot and did not return. Lucky for the Patriots, they have the bye week to get healthy.
Miami's season ended in Week 17 after a loss to the New York Jets, and the bad news did not stop there. Wide receiver Brian Hartline has a torn PCL, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
