The Bills are trying to get younger at the running back position, and Buffalo has released veteran running back Tashard Choice in order to give some of its younger players more opportunity. Choice served as the third-string back behind C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson for parts of three seasons.
Bills release RB Tashard Choice
The Bills are dropping a veteran running back to get a look at some of their younger players.

The running back taking Choice's place will likely be rookie Ronnie Wingo. The first-year player out of Arkansas has played just one game and has yet to receive a carry. Wingo went undrafted in April and was signed by the Falcons, but then was released and picked up by Buffalo.
Wingo's first opportunity could come in Week 14 against the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay.
