Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer will play on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, reports NFL.com's Michael Silver.

The veteran quarterback says he’s ready to play after injuring his elbow last week.

The veteran quarterback suffered an elbow injury early in last week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, fumbling on the third play of the game when hit hard by Trent Cole. Palmer would finish the game with over 300 yards passing and three touchdowns, but was noticeably affected by the injury as seen by two underthrown balls that were intercepted by the Eagles' defense.
Palmer is in his first season with Arizona after spending the past two years in Oakland. He has the Cardinals in a close fight for a wild card spot in the NFC at 7-5 through 12 games. Palmer has passed for 3,189 yards and 19 touchdowns, along with 17 interceptions, and is enjoying his highest completion percentage (62.8) since 2007 with the Bengals.
