Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington will play on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Andre Ellington injury: Cardinals RB will likely play vs. Rams
The rookie running back is expected to be back on the field after missing a game with an injured knee.

The rookie running back out of Clemson injured his knee against the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 24 and was a gametime decision in Week 13 against the Eagles, but was held out of that game. Ellington was confident he would play against the Rams, despite missing practice to start the week, and stated he was day-to-day heading into the weekend.
Ellington has 441 yards on 73 carries and has emerged as a big play threat opposite Rashard Mendenhall, averaging more than six yards per carry while scoring two touchdowns. The two backs have combined for just over 900 yards and seven touchdowns through 12 games played, with the Cardinals fighting for a playoff spot with a 7-5 record heading into Week 14.
