With many fantasy football leagues entering the playoffs this week, today’s NFL injury report takes on added significance. Here are some key injuries, and their impact for Week 14:
NFL Week 14 injury report: Reggie Bush, Vincent Jackson expected to play
A pair of offensive superstars will be on the field on Sunday after being questionable during the week. SB Nation’s medical expert, Dr. Ali Mohamadi, checks in with Bush, Jackson and the rest of this week’s injury report.

Quarterbacks
Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals, elbow
ARI (7-5) vs. StL (5-7), 4:25 p.m.
Despite being listed as questionable on the Cardinals' injury report this week, Palmer will start this afternoon against St. Louis after suffering an elbow injury in last week's loss to Philadelphia. Palmer continued to play against the Eagles despite the injury, but he was limited in practice all week. Nonetheless, indications are that he will get the nod as the Cardinals continue to vie for a wild card playoff spot; if he is unable to take the field this afternoon, backup Drew Stanton would get the nod at QB.
Running backs
Reggie Bush, Detroit Lions, calf
DET (7-5) @ PHI (7-5), 1 p.m.
Bush has been on and off the injury report all season with a knee injury, but this week was limited in practice with a calf problem that had not been an issue for the dynamic Lions RB until this week. Bush is officially listed as questionable for today's pivotal showdown with the Eagles, and although all signs are pointing toward his taking the field this afternoon, keep a close eye on his status as kickoff approaches. If he is unable to take the field, Joique Bell would get the majority of carries at RB for Detroit.
Rashad Jennings, Oakland Raiders, concussion
OAK (4-8) @ NYJ (5-7), 1 p.m.
Jennings suffered a concussion during the Raiders' Thanksgiving loss to Dallas and has seen limited action in practice this week. On a positive note, Jones did travel with the team to New York and will be evaluated prior to today's game against the Jets to see if he is able to play. If not, the Raiders are thin at RB due to injuries to Darren McFadden and Jeremy Stewart and would likely rely on Taiwan Jones and Marcel Reese to share carries this afternoon.
Wide receivers
Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hamstring
TB (3-9) vs. BUF (4-8), 1 p.m.
Jackson has been limited in practice this week due to a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable for today’s game against Buffalo. Head coach Greg Schiano has said he isn’t worried about the relative lack of practice time for Jackson, but hamstring injuries are notoriously slow to heal and prone to reinjury if an athlete returns to action before a full recovery, which is a cause for concern on the field today. Jackson will play this week.
Tight ends
Tony Gonzalez, Atlanta Falcons, toe
ATL (2-10) @ GB (5-6-1), 1 p.m.
Gonzales has been dealing with a left toe injury the past several weeks that has kept him limited in practices but able to suit up for games. Although he remains listed as questionable on the Falcons' injury report, Gonzalez should suit up again this afternoon at Green Bay. If Gonzalez is unable to play today, backup TEs Levine Toilolo and Chase Coffman would take his place in the lineup.
Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins, concussion
WAS (3-9) vs. KC (9-3), 1 p.m.
Reed was a surprise scratch from the Washington lineup prior to last Sunday night's game against the Giants when he experienced headaches related to the concussion he suffered in his team's Week 12 loss at Philadelphia. Reed, who is officially listed as questionable, has returned to practice and appears ready to go this afternoon against Kansas City, but as last week proved, the evaluation process for recovery from a concussion goes up until pregame warmups, and it's never a sure thing despite how well a player has felt leading up to the contest.
