Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas caught his 11th touchdown of the 2013 season in the first half against the Tennessee Titans, passing Shannon Sharpe's franchise record for single-season touchdown receptions in the process.

Thomas caught an eight-yard touchdown pass in the back corner of the end zone late in the second quarter to help pull the Broncos back into the game. That pushed him past Sharpe, who reached the 10 touchdown mark twice during his 14-year Hall of Fame career in Denver.
Thomas, who had no career touchdown grabs in two years coming into 2013, has had a breakout season playing alongside Peyton Manning. He'd racked up 45 receptions for 590 yards coming into Sunday, but has done most of his damage as a redzone threat.
Sharpe, currently an NFL analyst for CBS Sports, offered his congratulations to Thomas shortly after the record was broken on Sunday.
