New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is set to resume football-related activities in April, according to Conor Orr of the Star-Ledger.
Darrelle Revis injury: Jets CB could start running in April
Getting back on the football field will seem a lot more real for Revis in April.

Revis’s trainer, Will Sullivan, hopes to get Revis doing some light running and conditioning in two months:
“For me, I think I’m thumbs up in April, I’m going to get the green light (from Revis’ training staff) in April,” Sullivan told The Star-Ledger in a recent interview.
“The great thing is, there’s been no setbacks, it’s been a great surgery, he’s doing the right things - he hasn’t done too much, he hasn’t done too little. ... Once I get the green light in April, it’s time to go hit it hard on the field, so I have to make sure we hit it in a progressive manner. ... With him I have to start off with level one. It’s all about how he graduates from program to program.”
Revis is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in September. Revis played in just two games before going down with the injury and missed the rest of the 2012 season.
SB Nation's Gang Green Nation has tried to predict Revis's road to a comeback. It's not going as well as Adrian Peterson's recovery, though:
If we assume Revis remains 2 1/2 months behind Peterson’s whirlwind timetable (an admittedly wildly unsupported shot in the dark estimation, but it’s the best we can do given the current information available), then Revis should be fully recovered sometime around 12 1/2 months after surgery, which would basically be a bit slow but certainly not so slow as to raise any red flags...yet.
Despite the injury, Revis has been at the center of trade rumors. He’s on the last year of his contract and is due $9 million this season. Trading or cutting Revis would help their salary cap problem for next season. According to spotrac, the Jets have about $143.9 million devoted to their roster for 2013. The salary cap will be about $121 million.
