2013 NFL combine results: Linebacker 40-yard dash times and more

Cornelius Washington, Zaviar Gooden and Jamie Collins were among the linebackers who impressed at the NFL Combine on Monday. Here’s a look at the full results for all linebackers.

USA TODAY Sports

NFL Combine results for the 35 collegiate linebackers invited to Indianapolis are complete, and NFL scouts and coaches will now continue the evaluation process with new data.

Missouri Tigers linebacker Zaviar Gooden turned in the fastest 40-yard dash time among all linebackers on Monday. Gooden's official 40 time was clocked at 4.47 -- similar to speed fans see from wide receivers throughout the league.

Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o registered a relatively uninspiring day on Monday. Te'os unofficial and official 40 times were 4.8 and 4.82 -- less than stellar speed.

Georgia's Cornelius Washington posted excellent numbers across the board, completing the 40 in 4.55, while leading all linebackers with 36 bench reps, illustrating a combination of speed and strength. Washington wasn't considered to be an early round pick headed into the NFL Combine, but certainly managed to improve his draft stock with a strong showing.

Jamie Collins also impressed on Monday, leading all linebackers with a 41.5" vertical. Collins added respectable 40 times of 4.59 and 4.64 to go along with his impressive vertical.

Here’s a look at the official combine results for all participating linebackers.
