According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly will be reinstated into the league.
Johnny Jolly to be reinstated by NFL Monday, per report
According to sources, former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly will be reinstated on Monday, following a lengthy prison stay.

The reinstatement will be effective on Monday, March 4, per league spokesman. Jolly reportedly applied for reinstatement in June, and will finally be allowed a second chance to make a living in the NFL. He was originally disband from the league following a string of arrests.
Jolly served prison time for significant possession of codeine.
At age 29, the former sixth-rounder from Texas A&M will be hoping for an opportunity to compete again. He will be a tough sell to NFL teams, considering the incoming talent since his departure from the league. Jolly has been out of football since 2009, and has a serious criminal background.
By no means should the Packers be expected to welcome him with open arms. Should Jolly ink a deal, it should be for the league minimum near the end of free agency.
