How to watch Super Bowl pregame online, tv schedule, radio and more

Find when and where all the pregame shows are happening for the 2013 Super Bowl here.

Scott Halleran

The Super Bowl is given a two-week lead-up in which any and all angles can be found and covered by the media, but those two weeks apparently aren't enough, because the pregame shows for the event seem to grow and grow each year. Nearly 12 hours before the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens battle for the Lombardi Trophy, pregame coverage will begin. The 2013 Super Bowl Sunday coverage gets going at 7 a.m. ET on NFL Network, 10 a.m. on ESPN, and 11 a.m. on CBS.

CBS has the official pregame show, as they are fortunate enough to broadcast the game this year. They will begin their coverage with Road to the Super Bowl, which is an NFL Films production that recaps the best teams, players, and plays of the 2012 season. It promises to have in-game sound bites from more than 100 different players and coaches.

Follow Road to the Super Bowl at noon will be Let the Good Times Roll, a special hosted by Wynton Marsalis that will focus on the people and culture of New Orleans. Phil Simms is up next at 1 p.m. with his yearly All-Iron Team presentation.

After that, the real pregame show, Super Bowl Today, gets started at 2 p.m. with Greg Gumbel, James Brown, Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Shannon Sharpe and Bill Cowher. That will run until 6 p.m. and feature interviews, analysis, features, performances and updates.

Alicia Keys is scheduled to perform the National Anthem, and that will occur during CBS’s Super Bowl Kick Off Show following the pregame show. That block of time will also feature the team introductions and the coin toss, and runs until 6:25, when the actual game coverage begins.

For those that don't want to wait until 11 a.m. for coverage to begin, NFL Networks gets up bright and early with First on the Field at 7 a.m. That promises live reports from New Orleans, and leads up to an 8 1/2 hour edition of NFL Gameday Morning. That will be followed by A Football Life: Ray Lewis, which will take viewers up to game time.

As usual, ESPN will have Sunday NFL Countdown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
