Jay Cutler makes Forbes list of 10 Most Disliked Athletes

Cutler is in the top four with Lance Armstrong, Manti Te’o and Tiger Woods.

USA TODAY Sports

Apparently America doesn't like Jay Cutler.

Forbes released a list of the "10 Most Disliked Athletes in America" and the Chicago Bears quarterback had the fourth-lowest "appeal." Cutler's 21 percent appeal mark ranked behind Lance Armstrong (15 percent), Manti Te'o (15 percent) and Tiger Woods (19 percent).

Here’s what Forbes had to say about Cutler:

Seen as standoffish with teammates and the public. Fair or not, the sight of Cutler riding a stationary bike on the Bears’ sideline after pulling himself from a 2011 playoff game still lingers as a symbol of softness.

Cutler has been criticized plenty over his seven years in the NFL. He has even been criticized by his own teammates. But he has also been defended by the media and fans over the years.

Basically, no one can really figure out Cutler. Maybe that’s why no one likes him.

But Cutler isn’t the only professional football player on the list. Actually, he’s not even the only quarterback.

Also cracking the list is Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick at 23 percent and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo at 27 percent. Forbes writes that Vick is "moving steadily down" from the top of the list, where he used to rank. As for Romo, Forbes says it's tough when you're the quarterback of the Cowboys and you don't make the Super Bowl.
