The Cardinals signed the linebacker to a five-year, $30 million contract before the 2011 season. With three years left on his contract, it will cost the Cardinals $3 million in 2013.
The Cardinals are now under the salary cap or very close. It was reported this morning that the Cardinals were $1.2 million over the salary cap.
Despite receiving a rich contract, Bradley never started a single game in his two years with the Cardinals. Over that time, Bradley recorded just 31 total tackles and two pass deflections.
Bradley earned the rich contract after three solid seasons in Philadelphia. In three years with the Eagles, Bradley started 29 games, recording 148 solo tackles, three sacks and three interceptions. His best season was in 2008 when he had 108 total tackles, a sack and a pick.
