Desmond Byrant rumors: DT getting interest from multiple teams
Desmond Bryant should have now shortage of options on the free agent market as he’s already drawn interest from several teams.

At least six teams are already interested in Bryant, according Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports. According to Cole, the Patriots, Raiders, 49ers, Eagles, Seahawks and Jaguars are all interested in Bryant. The 27-year-old Bryant is one of the top defensive linemen on the free agent market. Bryant and his teammate Richard Seymour are considered to be the two best defensive tackles available.
During his four seasons in Oakland, Bryant showed ability in both run defense and as a pass rusher. He racked up 9.0 sacks over the last two seasons, despite only starting 18 games. Bryant earned a plus-16.5 grade last season according to Pro Football Focus, the sixth-highest grade among defensive tackles.
At 6’6 and 311 pounds, Bryant has the size and athletic ability to fit in a variety of systems. He can play defensive tackle in a 4-3 scheme or possibly shift out to defensive end in a 3-4 scheme. Bryant would also be an ideal fit for Seattle, Jacksonville and other teams which use a 4-3 under defensive scheme.
Bryant was arrested in February, but the incident doesn’t appear to impacting his impending free agency.
