The Oakland Raiders are interested in free agent tight end Kellen Winslow Jr., according to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Raiders interested in Kellen Winslow, per report
The Raiders are in the market for a tight end and are reportedly interested in Kellen Winslow Jr.

Oakland is in the market for a tight end after former starter Brandon Myers signed with the New York Giants. The 29-year-old Winslow was out of football most of last season, appearing in just one game. Winslow was traded to Seattle in May before being released by the Seahawks just before the season. He signed with New England and went on to play in one game for the Patriots before requesting his release.
Winslow has proven to be a dangerous receiving threat during his career, but has struggled with injuries. Winslow, however, is fully healthy according to Rapoport’s report. This isn’t the first time the Raiders have shown interest in Winslow. They reportedly looked into him after he was released by New England last season, but decided against signing him. If healthy and back to his previous form, Winslow could be an excellent buy-low candidate this offseason.
