NFL March Madness: No. 1 ‘Percy Harvin Has Moves On Moves’ vs. No. 8 ‘Adrian Peterson Off To The Races’

If anyone could break a tackle in a phone booth, it’s probably Percy Harvin. He may not have been in a phone booth on this 10-yard touchdown, but he still managed to break at least three tackles.

The play started innocently with a screen pass outside, unfortunately for the Titans that put Harvin in space, an area he is very dangerous. Jordan Babineaux was the first to attempt a tackle, but after a juke move he barely got a finger on Harvin. Two Tennessee defenders found themselves in front of Harvin, but another juke move took both out of position. Akeem Ayers caught up to Harvin from behind but proved to be no match as Harvin ran through that tackle attempt, around another defender and into the endzone.

Speed, power, agility. Not many players in the NFL could match what Harvin did on this play.

(8) Adrian Peterson Off To The Races

Adrian Peterson had so many impressive runs in 2012 that this 82-yard touchdown almost looks pedestrian. The Vikings blocked the play extremely well upfront, but it's blocked for an eight-yard gain, not an 82-yard run.

Peterson showed off some excellent vision as he ran into a pile, only to see the hole and burst cut through it before the Rams defender even had time to turn around to make a tackle attempt. Not necessarily known for his speed, Peterson had plenty on this play as he outran everyone to the endzone.
