Steve Breaston won’t need Regenokine knee treatment, according to report
Free agent wide receiver Steve Breaston will not undergo the Regenokine knee treatment that has been used by big-name athletes in recent years.

Breaston, 29, has been dealing with knee problems and is coming of his statistically worst season. In 2012, he was limited to just seven receptions for 74 yards over 10 games. He was released at the end of the season after two years in Kansas City.
Regenokine treatment is a process in which blood is removed from the body, slightly heated, and spun in a centrifuge before being injected into the joint to help fight inflammation. The process has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and is typically administered in Germany, but star athletes such as Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez and Grant Hill have undergone the procedure.
