Thursday Night Football schedule: Patriots, Jets meet in Week 2

The 2013 NFL schedule was announced on Thursday night. Here’s the schedule for the Thursday Night Football games to be played throughout the upcoming season.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The 2013 NFL regular-season schedule was announced on Thursday night. Each team now knows when they play each opponent and whether or not they have any marquee games. One game that could be considered prime-time is Thursday Night Football, though it’s not quite as special since every team gets one.

Each Thursday Night Football game will be broadcast nationally on NFL Network and the games will be played from Week 2 through Week 17. Thursday night games can be tough due to the fact teams are coming off a short week of rest. However, a few teams have excelled on Thursday night, including the Colts, Packers and Seahawks, who are all undefeated on the night. There are several teams that have the opposite luck on Thursday's, though. The Vikings, Saints, Jaguars and Panthers have all yet to win a Thursday Night Football game.

Week 2: New York Jets at New England Patriots

Week 3: Kansas City Chiefs at Philadelphia Eagles

Week 4: San Francisco 49ers at St. Louis Rams

Week 5: Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns
