Several teams have expressed interest in New England Patriots backup quarterback Ryan Mallett in the days leading up the 2013 NFL Draft, and the Pats are likely to trade him according to a report from Greg Bedard.
Patriots listening to trade offers for Ryan Mallett, according to report
New England is willing to listen to offers for their backup quarterback, but their asking price might be a bit high.

The Cleveland Browns have been mentioned as one potential suitor for Mallet, according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. The Browns do not currently have a second-round pick after using it for Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon in last year’s supplemental draft.
The Patriots selected Mallett in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft and would like to get more than a third-round pick in the upcoming 2013 draft in exchange for their backup after two years of tutelage under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. The likely asking price from New England is a second-round pick in this year's draft or a first round pick in 2014.
New England has been heavily scouting the quarterbacks in the 2013 draft class and is expected to select one at some point during the draft, making Mallett expendable. Mallett has attempted a total of four passes in an NFL regular season game with just one completion for 17 yards and one interception. He also has eight carries for a loss of nine yards.
