2013 NFL draft rumors: Tavon Austin, Kenny Vaccaro are players teams willing to trade up for

There will likely be at least one trade in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Tim Heitman-US PRESSWIRE

Former West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin and former Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro are two players teams are willing to trade up for in the 2013 NFL Draft, according to the NFL Network’s Jeff Darlington.

Vaccaro is considered the best safety in this year's draft class, which is deep at the safety position. He isn't quite as good in run support as fellow safety Jonathan Cyprien, but he is considered the best coverage safety out of the group. He had been predicted to be selected by the Bengals earlier in the offseason, but has steadily climbed up the boards. There are several safety-needy teams in the draft, including the Bengals, Steelers and Rams.

Unlike safety, this is not a deep draft class for wide receiver. Austin is considered the best of the bunch, though, and many consider him to be one of the most dynamic offensive players available in the draft overall. Austin caught 112 passes for 1,289 yards and 12 touchdowns, and he added 643 yards on the ground and another three touchdowns last season with the Mountaineers. Many believe that Austin can play any receiver position and carry or catch the ball out of the backfield, as well.

The first round of the draft will be broadcast nationally on ESPN Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
