The Broncos used their third round pick (No. 90) on cornerback Kayvon Webster, the Patriots took their second consecutive Rutgers player in safety Duron Harmon at No. 91 and the Rams got some wide receiver help in Stedman Bailey with the 92nd overall pick as the NFL draft continued on Friday.
2013 NFL Draft picks: Broncos, Patriots and Rams fire off 3rd round picks
The Broncos, Patriots and Rams all addressed team needs as the third round of the NFL draft comes closer to finishing.

Bailey, 22, was extremely productive for the Mountaineers, accumulating 25 touchdown receptions in 2012, the most in the nation by a wide margin. After such a huge season, along with the departure of quarterback Geno Smith and wide receiver Tavon Austin for the 2013 NFL Draft, there wasn't much more draft stock to build for Bailey and he elected to forego his senior season to enter the draft a year early. Wide receiver wasn't considered a strength for the Rams last season and that was before Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson both left via free agency, so Sam Bradford has to be smiling with this pick.
Webster led USF with 82 tackles last season and is a model of consistency, missing very few games throughout his college career. The Bulls didn’t have the best pass defense last year, which allowed Webster to shine a bit brighter. As Mile High Report wrote, Webster appears to be the perfect type of player to fit the Broncos mold:
Kayvon Webster appears to be exactly the type of player the Broncos covet. He has the skills and temperament for the position, as well as the intelligence to absorb information and learn. He also possesses the attitude needed to become a #1 Cornerback. His desire to seek out a mentor and determination to succeed are a testament to his character.
The Patriots had a few issues with their defense last year, and Harmon is a good pick to try and improve the unit. He was a first team All-Big East player as voted on by the coaches, and finished last year with 50 tackles, one interception and seven pass breakups. He is the second consecutive Rutgers player picked in the third round by the Patriots.
