Collin Klein to sign with Houston Texans as undrafted free agent
Former Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein tweeted that he’ll be signing with the Houston Texans.

I am so excited and honored to be given a chance to compete for the Houston Texans! #Godisgood #gotowork

Klein had a great 2012 season, both through the air and on the ground. He threw for 2,641 yards and 16 touchdowns and he added 924 yards and 23 touchdowns on the ground. He led the Wildcats to an 11-1 regular season record and to the Fiesta Bowl, where they lost to Oregon.
Like Tim Tebow, Klein was a great college quarterback, but he may struggle to make the transition to the NFL. He may have to make a transition to either running back or fullback to get a lot of time on the field at the next level. He could, however, take snaps as a wildcat quarterback.
The Texans are set at quarterback with Matt Schaub and Klein will likely fight with Case Keenum, Stephen McGee and T.J. Yates for a backup position.
