Chiefs sign Tyler Bray as undrafted free agent, per report
Former Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray has been signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent, per reports.

Former Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Tyler Bray has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Bray has a cannon for an arm, which has made him an interesting prospect, but he has been extremely inconsistent and has been known to make bad choices on the field. He has good size for the position, standing at 6’6 and weighing in at 232 pounds.
In 2012, Bray threw for 3,612 yards, 34 touchdowns and 12 interceptions for a passer rating of 146.3. Overall in his career, he threw for 7,444 yards and 99 touchdowns. He has been very productive as a college quarterback, but unless he’s coached and developed, he may struggle to see the field.
The Chiefs traded for former first-round pick Alex Smith and also have Chase Daniel, Ricky Stanzi and Alex Tanney on the roster. Bray will likely compete for a backup position for Smith with the other young quarterbacks on the roster.
