2013 undrafted free agents: Jake Stoneburner signs with Packers
Jake Stoneburner tweeted on Saturday night that he was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent.

Today didn't turn out how I expected... But I am SO GLAD to say, I'm a Green Bay Packer!!!

Stoneburner was considered the 18th-best tight end in this year’s draft class by SB Nation’s own Dan Kadar. He isn’t the best athlete at the position and he was more of a blocker than a pass catcher for the Buckeyes, but he has good hands and should be able to contribute at the next level with the Packers.
In his four years with the Buckeyes, Stoneburner caught 53 passes for 714 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Packers have some talented tight ends on the roster, including Jermichael Finley. Stoneburner will likely compete for a backup position and may see some time on the field on special teams if he makes the team.
