Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver and return specialist Joshua Cribbs has signed with the Oakland Raiders, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Josh Cribbs signs contract with Raiders
The Raiders added a new wide receiver and return specialist on Wednesday.

Cribbs tweeted on Wednesday that he was blessed to sign with the Raiders:
I am blessed to have the opportunity to prove myself yet again! Fresh start, New team, New chip on my shoulder!!!! Love u Cleveland but now it’s #catalinawinemixer 2013RaiderNation
Cribbs visited with the Giants as well as the Jets, and there were other teams, including the Lions, that were interested in the talented special teamer, but there were concerns about his health. Jets general manager John Idzic said that Cribbs' injured knee "isn't quite there yet" after his visit in New York.
Cribbs, an undrafted free agent out of Kent State in 2005, has been with the Browns since joining the league. In his eight seasons in Cleveland, he missed only four games, and while he’s extremely athletic and fast, he was much more productive as a kick returner than a receiver. Cribbs has caught 107 passes for 1,161 yards and seven touchdowns, and rushed for 753 yards and two touchdowns with eight touchdowns on kickoff returns and three as a punt returner.
Cribbs will join Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore in Oakland as targets for new quarterback Matt Flynn.
